You are a brave soul.
I'll remember the clay tip. Our living room rug gets wet in one corner during high rain. We've only tried sand bags.
I live in a hail belt. When large storms hit, I grab my parrot & we hide in the bathroom where there are no windows. The noise of pounding hail stones is so loud.
Maybe I should be bring along a cocktail also! (Maybe the whole bottle.)
Brave ? Thinking negatively doesn't help AT ALL.
Good place to hide , or Closet. Oh yeah, time
Clay is awesum because you can take 25lb bag, split in 4 equal long logs & press up against doors/windows. 1st Press & SealSaran™ then form your long 1/4's (in good q bags)..Wallah
HAIL Freaks me out.
THAT
IS Terrifying .
My "other's" '97 Mustang Cobra (signed by John Coletti) was pummeled by huge Hail storm in Raleigh.
If your going to get extreme weather in a hot State, might as well move to FL .
