I'll remember the clay tip. Our living room rug gets wet in one corner during high rain. We've only tried sand bags.

I live in a hail belt. When large storms hit, I grab my parrot & we hide in the bathroom where there are no windows. The noise of pounding hail stones is so loud.

Maybe I should be bring along a cocktail also! (Maybe the whole bottle.)

My "other's" '97 Mustang Cobra (signed by John Coletti) was pummeled by huge Hail storm in Raleigh.
If your going to get extreme weather in a hot State, might as well move to FL .

Several years back we had a baseball sized hailstorm hit. Two or three animals at our zoo died and eight people at the zoo were injured. Under the circumstances, those numbers could have been a lot worse. Repairs accross the city were slow, as suppliers ran out of materials.

I’ve had to have a few vehicles repaired, but nothing as nice as a '97 'autographed' Mustang Cobra. Ouch! That had to hurt.

Tulip tree moth/giant silk moth. Some of these images were right next to me at 20x zoom and it still got some great detail. Camera on this thing is awesome. This moth also rode on my back for a while as evidenced by my shadow. Still can't figure out why they are saving as HEIC which is not compatible with the forum so I have to go to the pic and screenshot it to a jpeg file to make it compatible

Not sure . Mr SVT, right? You know how some people are known for statements & they become their "Mantra", that was my Xs ... He was so proud of that . It was really beautiful. 17,000 miles. Was suppose to be given to me when he died. Has not been delivered yet.
Because of him, I actually am into s. Only true he's given me.
