They would have been if we could keep em. Have to be released if they are over 13", and those were 20.5" and 21". I tend to release those anyway as they are females that help keep the population healthy. It's rare to see a male largemouth over 4 lbs, though it can happen.Those are going to be delicious!

Oh heavens no lol that place is filled to the brim with nice bass. Several guys in boats have pulled some 10-12 lbers out of there this year. Saw one of em in person, it was beyond MASSIVE.Those are beauties!

That's really great that you contribute to keeping the population in good shape.
My dad, a river fisherman (mostly trout), was a big fan of catch & release.

That's a don't mess with me stance if I ever saw one. Very nice picture. I love lizards. I had a 'family' of whiptails that hung out in my garage. They squeezed back & forth under my garage door like greased lightning. I kept a plate of water out there for them. Named the biggest one Larry.
Then a new neighbor moved in with a outdoor cat. Larry vanished. I never knew if he was a victim or if he moved the crew to a safer hangout.
Anyway, love your picture.

Tonight's super blue moon. I couldn't get a good pic because the trees threw off the focus. It's beautiful though!!

Minnie Belle wanted this squirrel so bad!!
