Solved S24 Stuck on TalkBack

I am at my wit's end. Somehow, TalkBack was enable on my Galaxy S24 and it's stuck there. I can't do anything. I was able to restart several times, but every time, it took me to the TalkBack screen and I couldn't get out. I also tried a soft reset, with the same result. The last time, it required a login password rather than a swipe. I am able to type in the password, but can find no way to finish entering the password. The "Enter" key on the keyboard does nothing, and I'm stuck there.

Can anyone tell me how I can get out of TalkBack? Please?

Try booting in safe mode and restart your device

I moved this from the Galaxy S forum (for the ancient original Galaxy S phone) to the S24 forum.

mustang7757, safe mode was a great suggestion. That was to be my next step, but I thought since my screen was locked it wasn't an option. After you suggested it, I tried again and it worked. It was a little tricky getting logged back in normally, but everything is back to normal now.
