S25 catches on fire

Has anyone noticed those that have a collection of old iPhones and Samsungs that you keep in some drawer somewhere and you by chance check on them years later... for me it's always the Samsung phones I had that I find with expanded batteries bursting out of the phone housing?

🫣 A battery blowing up sounds pretty scary.

The only old phone I have is my Blackberry Bold from 2011. The battery has not swelled & it still holds a charge.

When my husband & I had the Galaxy s5 model, a battery would last about a year before it would swell & need to be replaced. After the 3rd OEM battery change, we upgraded devices.
So our s5 phones never made it to the drawer, they just went out the door.
;)

s3, s5, noet6 s8+, s10+: i tried to charge note5, flashing icon said battery bad, unplugged it!!

i've never charged a phone overnight, don't even have others on chargers if i'm not home!!

how's that possible since it doesn't come with a charger!!
Probably from another Samsung plug he had , also he could of bought it as well, doesn't matter thought, Samsung batteries are dangerous even if you have the phone in the drawer for years the battery will inflate and can blow up, few weeks ago i went in my drawer found My S3 and S5 those phones were in drawer off and when i checked them both had the batteries swollen, so even if you don't use the phone eventually battery will get swollen.
