S3 4.3 and FoxFi

Don't understand. I was forced to 4.3 and when I went to activate FoxFi I get an error message saying contact Verizon but my friend willing updated to 4.3 on his S3 and his FoxFi still works. So I had to break out my old Bionic so I can use FoxFi and I hate having to do it.

Did you read the updated Description in the Google Play Store? It describes how to get FoxFi working with 4.3.

Just enable a secure lock screen on your S3, such as lock with a pin or pattern, then launch FoxFI, install the trusted certificate, and accept the VPN warning and then you are connected.

Yup, once you do that you can just disable the lock and go back to swipe. If that's how you like your phone that is

I had gotten it to work shortly after my post but since then went back to my old Bionic because my S3 started struggling to get and maintain even a 3G signal while my Bionic would keep a strong 4G and some people told me at work that Samsung had the weaker antenna of the two brands. Don't know how true that is. I'm actually on my 3rd S3. 1st one would shutdown on its own then get stuck on load screen never loading kinda like a software update that didn't take then its replacement had actually burn marks on the screen and Verizon apologized and now on to this current one. I was actually looking at the Moto X but been reading it won't work with FoxFi since kitkat.
