S3 battery no charging

Hi guys,
my s3 battery not charging or very slow in charging. 1% after few hours. What is the problem?

It's hard to say with the information provided.
Are you using the original charger/cable that came with the phone? (If so, try a different charger and/or cable)
Charging from the USB port on a computer? (slow method)
Try shutting the phone off completely; leave it alone for an hour - that should provide plenty of charge to be able to boot the phone.
