Running Rooted Android 4.4.2 stock kernel and i seem to be having a issue where it wont even charge when charge it through the wall. Instead it slowly decreases. Its not the battery since I've tried it on another device and it worked fine. Its also not my wall plug since i can charge my tablet just fine. Its also not the device because I've connected it to my PS4 and it charged perfectly fine. I've taken out the battery and turned it on and now it seems to be somewhat stable. When i checked the battery manager it said that Android System is using 30% of the battery life. I believe that the A.S. is supposed to be 20%? Or somewhere around that area. Someone please help asap

Do you have a custom ROM installed? Even though it's a stock kernel, there could be an issue with the stock ROM you are using on the device. Consider clearing cache through recovery to see if that fixes the problem. Also, try using another wall outlet and power source just to be safe and see if that produces better results.

No custom rom. Tried a S5 brick with a S4 charging cable. Charges normally but it disconnects even though its connected. Thinking its the prong

Sent from my Rooted, Debloated GS3 using Tapatalk 2

UPDATE: Now it wont even charge. Clearing the cache only made it worse. Planning to recalibrate the battery
