The Ankor brand batteries and some others are stated at their real capacity. Read the comments from buyers about the seller if you purchase on Ebay. Some of the advertised batteries do not meet their specifications.
If you purchase a high capacity battery you will usually get a new back for your phone with room for the higher capacity battery. The phone will be thicker and heavier but I have not found it to be a problem. In fact it seems to be easier to hold!
If you are using a slip on protector or most cases the phone will no longer fit due to the thickness!
If you use the NFC feature on your phone be sure the replacement battery has this feature. NFC is built into the factory battery.
You can use your regular charger, it will take longer to completely charge the higher capacity battery!
