Phone is 26 days old. Black screen, camera failure. Going to AT&T Store to replace today.
Unless anybody out there know of a "fix" ?? PS: Battery was losing charge more rapidly, too. And the device was feeling "hot" up by the camera eye.

:(

Are you using an SD card? Try un mounting it and see if that helps. I had this issue and my SD card needed reformatting (thanks to the user who helped me with that, btw, never got the chance to thank him!)

I am not using an SD card. Long story short, I went to an ATT Device Store this morning, where they did a factory reboot (or re-set) and alas, the problem was not solved. I was told it's a hardware problem and the phone had to be replaced, which it was, no more questions asked. I gave feedback on what I did that led up to this failure and hoped they pass it onto the powers that be to resolve this glitch.

see my reply below, or somewhere on this thread. Bottom line, it's a hardware problem and the phone needs to be replaced.

this happened to me two days after i got my phone (near the Verizon launch) I restarted my phone, and it hasn't happened since.

Don't waste time. Just get it replaced.
