s4 charging issues

About a week ago both mine and my wifes s4s started having issues either not charging or charging about 1% every 3 minutes.

The ports are both clean. Ive used 4 different charge cords. Newest software installed after this started. Was able to resolve issue once with a soft reset but aftrr that charge its been messed up again.

Anyone else experience this? Any ideas what else to look for?

I've had charging issues with mine for over a year. I took it to my carrier and they said it's charging. I don't know what else to do
