S4 extremely hot and will not charge, regardless of changes i done..

Hello everyone

My mother has a S4, in which it does not charge at all and the phone becomes really really hot, i mean literally HOT! enough to burn your hand.

So the changes i done where:

-Changed and put her a new usb port module inside the phone.
-Changed and bought a new genuine Samsung battery for the phone
-Tried charging the phone using other original samsung chargers.

Still no luck, all that happens when you plug the phone in to charge is, the charge icon would appear then disappear on the screen and that's it, it will not charge and like i said becomes crazy hot.

Really dont know what else i could change or do

Only 2 things left - the charger and the motherboard. Trying a different charger is free. If that's not it, replace the motherboard. Or, considering the cost, and the possibility that you'll mess something up and the total repair will be more than the phone is worth, back the phone up and replace it. Sell it for $50 or so as a "parts only" phone.
