Hi there okay im new to this forum and i have a Samsung Galaxy S4

Every now and then my phone decides to unlock itself. I have no idea why it happens when my phone is in my pocket ..on the table next to me and ervything else. it is very irritating any help on would greatly be appreciated thank you.I have tried different lock methods...Light..Ripple...None this doesnt change anything i have disable all airview air gesture and all that stuff but still nothing

You're not alone. It happens to me as well. Too annoying. Gave it to Samsung service center. They said it was some software that was causing it and erased the phone. Didn't change anything and it started happening again the same day. :( Please let me know if u get a solution for this its bugging me a lot

Im still struggling daily just hoping and praying for a software update that will hopefully resolve this

I have found the solution after experiencing a similar problem myself. What happened is the phone thinks it has the s view cover on. When there is a change in light setting it thinks the s view cover was opened so it unlock the phone for you. To disable this feature you would go to Settings > Accesory > unchecked Automatic unlock.

Cheers!
Tuon
