S4 Photo problem

Hello , i bought a S4 from 1 week and today gave me to do the update. Before I do, when I look at a picture in the upper right corner appears to me to delete the picture logo , and now I appear otherwise. How can I bring back the delete logo?

delete picture logo is feel like a recycle bin.

the "delete" icon/logo really should still be there -it's puzzling!

OK, try tapping on the photo to edit it and see if you can use the delete option in the edit mode.
Next you can restart phone and see if returns the delete option.
Those are the first two steps I would take -

(you might have to reset your phone if this does not correct the situation and you can't edit in gallery at all :-(
