thanks but that only has info on rooting/security stuff. Can anyone else comment on what differences they observe (apart from the transparent status bar)? For example, I can't find the Apps2SD app that someone said was new.

Apps2SD is not an app, it's a feature to allow you to move applications to an external SD card. Go to Settings->More->Application manager, select an app, then there is a button called "Move to SD card".

thanks. I noticed that only some of the downloaded apps have that button enabled (e.g. Seagate Media app. has it disabled). What determines this?
