S4 Text Messaging: the dreaded Message 4504:Message not found. [Solution]

Had this happen to me, so I had to go research the problem. After reading a couple of huge threads, I decided to resolve it the old-fashioned way, and pulled the battery, then re-installed and booted it up.

The messages that had gotten hung up due to an internal error came through, and my phone quieted down again. I hope this helps others going through this annoying problem.
