S4 video to TV:stuttering !

Got a Samsung Galaxy S4 with a Panasonic Viera TV.
However,whatever way I try to stream videos from the phone to the TV they always stutter,pause and stop.(eg allcast,panasonic remote app etc)
Photos work fine and I can easily stream HD videos from my Imac to the TV.
My router is in a different room,could that be the cause?

Ive got the same problem woth the regular s4. I run my videos linked to our samsung smart bluray player. Videos are horrible to watch because they only play about 3 seconds and have to buffer again. I need a brand new Smart TV from samsung. (Which still isnt much better because screen mirroring gets unstable and disconnects literally ALL THE TIME. Its useless...no matter what network you are on. And my router is in the same room....right above the dvd player.
