S5 active, android 5.0: how to cause Sign In option to pop up agter connect to WiFi

Question pertains to my Samsung galaxy s5 active, android 5.0

How do I add the functionality that my galaxy tab a has, where it automatically opens the public Wi-Fi login web page, after I connect to the Wi-Fi network?

The tablet opens a dialog box that says "connect to <starbucks> Wi-Fi", I click it and it opens the login page
How to achieve this on the galaxy s5 active?

One you go through the login thing, you can add that network to your saved networks, then the next visit should take you to the captive portal login page if you ask the phone to login

Welcome to Android Central! Go to Settings>Apps and look for an app called CaptivePortalLogin. Make sure it isn't Disabled.
