S5 Bluetooth connection to UE Boom drops

I received a UE Boom 2 for xmas and my Bluetooth connection keeps dropping. The rest of my family's devices (iphone 5s & 6s, and S6 edge) stay connected so i doubt it the speaker. Suggestions?
