Ok, now here is the issue, my S5 Duos (SM-G900FD) charges from 1% to 100% in around 60 minutes with the phone ON! That seems GOOD but I really couldn't understand why it was charging so fast, a S5 is by designed to charge in around 2 hours. I have a 5V USB monitor which is able to measure 3.7V mAh capacity. Its very accurate to as I have tested it on my 10,000mAh power banks. Here is the deal. I allowed my phone battery to die completely and started the charge the phone through the device with my phone off, the charging ran at around 1.73A at 5.47V.
It measured only 2300mAh capacity which means my battery has degraded itself and only has 82% capacity left. My S5 Duos (SM-G900FD) was bought on the 18th of November 2015 and that in 366 days the battery has degraded itself 18%. Now if I take my battery life, the phone runs for around 11-15 hours on a charge with heavy use, 4G data ON 24X7 playing SimCity etc. Feeling sorry for the phones that don't have a replaceable battery.
