S5 Contact Issue

Im am new to the S5 after spending two years with the S3. When I go into my contacts and specifically mine, i can add a picture of me to the profile i guess you call it and save it. i can see it when im texting back and forth with someone, it shows up just like their picture does that I assigned them. Problem is when I restart the phone my picture disapears but the other ones stay.

Any ideas how to fix this ?????

ATT tried and they said to call Samsung.

Ask your AT&T store where the Device Support Center is. Go there and ask them if it's a known problem with the S5 on 5.0, or you have a defective phone. (They may replace the phone, so back everything up - see Backing up an Android Device.)
