Just to let you guys know, I'm downloading an update on my UK s5 that was running lollipop 5.0, the update is ota and 375.44mb in size, and it's saying, improved performance.

Just downloading the update now. Hope I Don't have to another factory reset.

First impressions not good.

All of the Apps I had on my SD card are coming up as uninstalled. But that seems to have sorted itself out.

Getting messages stating LinkedIn has stopped - never saw that before.

Hope they have sorted out the contact stopping message as that was annoying.

This is my third day on the latest Lollipop release for the UK unbranded G900F and it is fantastic! Battery life is much better and Wi-Fi connects immediately. The changelist number for this release, OC7, (build date 13 March),, is much higher than anything so far released and Samsung have obviously put a lot of under-the-hood tweaks into this as well as correcting some previous problems, such as the annoying, "Fully charged", notification that blocked part of the screen until it was wiped away.

Bottom line... there is no way I would want to go back to the old KitKat firmware now!

Did a cache clear and things are looking better. LinkedIn had an update and all looks o.k. Haven't had the contacts stopped message since the update either but I'll wait a few days before I do cartwheels over that one.

Just installed this latest update and trusted places is still broken.

Just tested it again on my G900F on the recent OC7 release and Trusted Places is working fine. It does however, need a good, strong, fast, GPS fix, as per the GPS fix S5 - Dummies Guide. If I leave my house and walk around 60 or so paces the PIN lock cuts in and if I return to within that radius the PIN lock is disabled..

For those of you wondering what we are talking about, see How to add a trusted place in Android 5.0 Lollipop
