s5 Mini - setting up emails

[AC Question]

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help?
I have a couple of email accounts- Hotmail and gmail already set on my phone- no probs. I now need to set up a Microsoft account and when I go to settings, accounts, add account, and click on Microsoft exchange, I input the email address and password and nothing happens????
anyone help??

Welcome to Android Central! What kind of Microsoft account is it? Outlook.com? MSN.com? Hotmail.com?

When you add account, you could select Other, and enter the information manually. IMAP is preferable over POP3. Refer to this site for the correct information: Configure Outlook with an Outlook.com (Hotmail), Gmail, Yahoo, AOL or iCloud account - HowTo-Outlook
