S5 not ringing sometimes

Sometimes I will get a notification that I have a new voicemail and the phone didn't even ring. I don't have any missed call notifications or anything. After I reboot the phone and get my wife to call my cell it works. Anybody else having problems receiving calls? I normally have 3-4 bars of 4G LTE, so it shouldn't be a service issue. Any suggestions?

Did you try in person to call from another phone to see if it just doesnt ring? Or is it possible that you are in an area at the time they call that has bad reception? That would cause them just to get your voicemail. So technically you would have a new voicemail, but not necessarily a missed called. If that makes any sense haha... Also you could try rebooting the phone from factory default. It is possible a specific app is causing interference. These are just a couple things I used to check for when I worked at Verizon. Thanks for the response. I get the voicemail immediately after they call. For example if they call at 3:50pm, I get the voicemail notification immediately (around 3:50pm) and the time stamp on the voicemail says it was recorded at 3:50pm. I would think I would have good service in order to receive the voicemail notification at the correct time. I have not tried to do a factory reset yet. Maybe I'll just have to reboot my phone more often and see if that fixes the issue.
