S5 or lg g4?

Hey all I have been around the forums for a long time but forgot my older name but had a question I hope some of you can help me with. I went from a Blackberry to a S1 and now have a S3.....I heard about the s6 but was so mad that they got rid of the sd card slot and the battery you can take out it really ruined me going out and getting it. I have been looking at the s5 and s5 active to buy till a sales person asked me if I have seen the lg g4 yet. I did not get to play around with it alot cause he kept talking about selling and plans and I wanted to just leave. The s5 I did like the health program on there and the heart heart scanner on the back cause that was a cool feature the wife and I both liked as we are in the medical field but health watchers as well. So whats better in terms of cell cause the salesman was like "well i have the s6 edge but I wish i waited for the g4". I am a big guy with big hands so even the S3 fits in the hand like a smaller cell so the screen size is not that big of a deal. Keeping a charge for a days time is def needed and nice screen with speed is nice as well.

i have the s5 and ill say get the s5,yes the g4 is fancy with leather and stuff but it is slow.Have you seen how long it takes just to open recent apps?takes a full 5 seconds to open recent apps and i dont see the need to get phones with buttons at the back.And moreover s5 is water resistant and has fingerprint.This is my opinion and everyone had different opinions,try playing with it more at the store first to decide

The g4 not water resistant? I dont know to much about it besides all the back and forth specs and reviews people are posting...I have seen the reaction times and your right it does seem to lag. The finger print is like meh it has it but i normally use the pin or have my cell on my nonstop so thats not really that big of a deal for me. I am not a huge gamer on the cell as to many apps nowadays want so much information that I just put games on my older cells for Wifi around the house or tablets

S5 water resistance alone is a lfe saver i literally take my phone out the glove and rinse it under the sink and its durable dropped it too many times wth no case. I brought 2 s5s dont ask me why ones rooted ones not both fully operational. No problems. I love this phone if only they make a water resistant note

so you both are leaning towards the s5 correct ...theirs the s5 active as well but idk seems like the s5 reg is just as good and I live in Texas not like I need the extreme low temp and all. The salesman was like blah blah why get old technology specially when the g4 and the s5 are same price at $200...I was like its a year old kiddo and I have a s3...anything is going to be better technology out of those both then what I have

I just got the g4 and switched from the gs5...the gs5 seems slower to me and takes longer to open the recent apps than the LG. I'm still torn over whether it was a good decision to switch as both phones performance wise are relatively similar. Haven't had the g4 long enough to give a full comparison, but both should be fine and both probably lag around the same amount.

When looking at it I would compare the direct specs that you need. One has a much better camera for any shots that have lower light (g4) and the other is waterproof.. The battery life is about the same (the g4 gets a little bit longer in my short experience but depending on your usage it may not be the case).

LG G4 is one of the best phones released this year. No doubt that s5 is also a great phone but G4 is far better than s5.

thats kinda harsh to say wouldnt ya say though ...i mean have you owned one bud? From what I have seen people say for a person with a s3 to go to a s6 its clear its a easy switch but the people with the s5 arnt as easy to bait and catch....so they were saying the s5 is better....then you have the people saying s6 in vids is faster then the g4......I think just know I need a upgrade cause my s3 is slowing down and want something faster, i dont do alot of gaming but i do tweet....i dont get into all the facebook crap and stay on my cell 24/7 but i do take pics....yet i am not a picture perfect wanna be photographer..water proof is awesome but so is battery life
