Hello there,
I'm currently abroad using an unlocked Verizon Samsung S5 phone and I bought a local simcard. The phone is working perfectly except that I can't have access to my voicemail. When I'm calling the number, I get the following message: "Connection problem or invalid MMI code". Is there a way around?
Many thanks...

You probably have to call your Verizon (US) phone number (or your Verizon voicemail number - it's in the phone or you can call Verizon to get it) to access your Verizon voicemail - that would include the +1 (for North America) in front of the number. And your current account (the non-Verizon one) has to allow calling the US, not just local (or European or similar) calls.
