S5 versus M8 Radio Reception

I have seen some people complaining about the radio reception of the S5. I will be upgrading in a short time and want to know how the signal strength of the S5 compare with the HTC One M8. Please give me your real world experience with radio signal strength.

I used the M8 for a while and I did notice a decrease in signal strength via wireless and 4G connections.

Yes - at least in my case in both wireless and 4G LTE.

Samsung has never been known for great radios. Signal quality is going to be lower - not dramatically, but there will be a difference.

i can't remember where i read it but the reason why samsung keeps their radio freq down is to avoid radiation leak meaning keeping to a certain lever to avoid brain cancer.

Thanks, I have an S3 and don't have any issues now but I heard the S5 might have issues.

I have the S5 and my signal reception on LTE is amazing. I also own the iPhone 6 and it sucks. Both WiFi and LTE are great on the S5. While I have 4 bars out of 5 in my house with the Galaxy, the iPhone 6 has 1 bar.
