S6 Active - Copilot navigation voice over bluetooth not working - Equinox 2010

I have a 2010 Equinox with the standard GM head unit.. in the past with several nokia and iphone phones, if i pair it with bluetooth.. and use copilot, the audio from copilot would go through bluetooth (but not music, because the headunit doesnt support that, just calls and the navigation)..

Now with a new s6 active 64gb.. i can get calls working through bluetooth, but no navigation voices.. only through the phone.

I'm guessing its some sort of incompatibility with the s6 bluetooth stack..

Anyone else ran into this and found a solution?

I've pretty much concluded that the s6 just isnt compatible with the 2010 equinox, unlike other relatively new windows phones and an iphone that were, at least for "mono audio" over bluetooth.

for instance, the google maps app, has an option to send audio over bluetooth but that doesnt work.

I found a few bluetooth router apps that sorta worked, but when you plug the stereo cable in, to use the aux jack in the car, they still sent music app audio over the mono bluetooth. I think a hunt for the right routing app that can be smart enough to cut the bluetooth feed when music is being played via the jack is ideal (and the bluetooth app kicks in if driving directions are spoken).
