s6 active froze up

My S6 active froze up yesterday for about 12-15 hours. I used it, put it in my pocket, then try to use it 15 minutes later and the screen was black. it wouldn't turn on it wouldn't do anything. I plugged in the charger the light wouldn't come on showing its charging or anything. I went to bed woke up and now it's working again...? Did anybody else experience this? Should I do a factory reset?

Thanks for the reply. So far so good.. Fingers crossed... Think it coulda had something to do with using CM locker and still having the stock screen lock on. I removed CM and only use the stock screen locker now...
