S6 battery life?

Hi all,
I currently own a GS5 and I'm soon looking to upgrade to either a GS6 or a Note 4. I'm on the fence with this one, as the GS6 battery life has me concerned, and since it's used, there's no return policy at my local store. Is it enough to get me through a day of moderate usage (social networking and web browsing, auto brightness, power saving on)? I'm averaging 22h with 4.5h SOT on the S5, could the S6 do the same? All replies appreciated!

Some people get great battery life at 18+ hrs with 4.5 hrs SOT. While some others get 12+ hours with 2.5 hrs of SOT.

I personally get 15+ hrs with 3.5+ SOT since I've been on 5.1.1. I was getting 20+ hrs with 4.5 SOT back on 5.0.2. All on US carrier At&t.

My phone comes off the charger around 5am and lasts until 11pm or so when I go to bed, with battery life to spare.

I had the S5 and now the S6 and for my use pattern, I get more battery life on the S6.
The benefits and features of the S6 out weigh any possible shorter battery life.

I'm getting about 10 hours battery life with 2 hours sot. It works for me as I top it off midday but if it wasn't for that topoff, I probably would cutting it close by end of day.
How are ppl getting 12-14 hours with 4 sot is beyond me.

The battery life of the S6 is not so good, but I just adapted my charging habits

I would say my cell signal is pretty good most of the day. I spend 8-8.5 hours at work and the rest of the day I'm typically at home on WIFI.

I would answer the screen time question but I'm not sure how to check that. If someone can tell me how, I'll update tomorrow with today's stats.

Mine is so so. I contribute it though to my usage. Wifi here and there and week phone signal.

Settings>System>Battery then scroll down to the screen tab, click to open and it will give you details including SOT.

I think the S6 battery life sucks. My first normal work/weekday and I got ~3 hours of SOT time on ~16 hours of use. But I squeaked that out of my phone. Lots of stuff turned off, disabled, power save on, dim screen . . . hesitant to use the phone. . . so literally I worked hard to get that. That blows.

I'd like 4-5 hours of screen time in that same time frame. I'd prefer to not have to top up my battery before I go to sleep.

It's been known that the S6 has a considerable small battery. You bought into the wrong phone if you are wanting excellent battery life.

For those on ATT who found the battery life went down after after 5.1.1 update, try this: With the 5.1.1 update ATT enabled Enhanced 4G LTE services. That significantly reduces battery life. If you don't need HD voice, try disabling that.
