S6 blacklisted

I recently bought a s6 from a friend and I come to find out it is reported stolen, she says that it was under her friends name and they don't talk anymore. I told my friend it wasn't usable and more and she gave me all my money back and said to keep the phone. So is there anyway to put it on straight talk, or any other carrier? It runs on Verizon. Would it be possible to put it on straight talk under a gsm like att, and would it be capable of 4g? The Verizon guy said I could take a sim out of a working phone and put it into the s6 and activate it that way, I don't have the nano sim that it takes just a micro, is it possible trim the sim down that way also, and make it go onto straight talk?

Only thing you can do at this point if turn it into Verizon since the phone was reported stolen.
