S6 Edge battery doesn't hold charge AT ALL, what are some possible fixes?

s6 edge battery doesnt hold charge AT ALL

hey guys ive recently came victim to water damage EG rain going on the top of my phone...ive opened the phone replaced the battery and still no dice..still sits at 100 percent and shuts off when i take the charger out....but when i keep the charger on and i disconnect the flex charger cable it then shuts off also...i need help to see if its the battery OR the flex charger cable

If there is water damage, then unfortunately it will be hard to know for sure what is wrong.

yeah sorry i was the one that submitted that question before registering..but im presuming water got in the charger port and messed it up?

Yea.... your charging port or motherboard can be damaged because of the water.
