S6 Edge connected to wifi but no Internet. 3G works. No problem from wifi end. How can I fix it?

s6 Edge connected to wifi but no Internet. 3G works. No problem from wifi end.

- My s6 Egde connects to wifi but no Internet connectivity, while 3G works without any issues.
- No problem from the Wifi end because I've another phone and it connects just fine over wifi.
- Plus, I have to actually turn off the Mobile Data so wifi can even connect (still no Internet though).
- When Mobile Data is on, Wifi says "Ready to connect when network quality improves" but as mentioned before, no problem with wifi.

Have you tried changing the router settings to just 2.4 or 5 GHz settings? Sometimes one of those will have interference the other won't. I had that issue where a phone was connecting on 2.4, but got that error if I only had the 5 GHz network running.

I can't change the router settings (i am staying in a hotel) BUT... the problem is persistent in every other place i tried to connect as well.
Besides, it worked before. So the problem can't be router settings.
If i remember correctly, the problem started after downloading DU Battery Saver . Don't know if it's related or not.

DU Battery Saver is one of the most horrible, evil, totally worthless pieces of crap ever written for Android. Very likely it is causing problems.

Uninstall immediately!
