S6 Edge factory micro SD charger (Slow charging)

A few months after I got my S6 Edge on VZW I noticed when i would plug my phone into charge it would say ( slow charging, to charge faster use original charger) which I am using when I receive that message.

if I unplug, and plug it back in several times, it will go back to regular fast charging. Not sure if this is a issue other people are having? Also when its in (slow charging mode) I notice the end plugged into the phone heats up...

Any help would be great. thanks!

Sounds like a bad cable end (plug) or a bad microUSB connector in the phone. Where there's heat, there's power being consumed - by a bad connection.
