Hi there,
Yesterday after a nice bike ride, I went to check my phone as you do.
Surprisingly, it wouldn't respond and was completely dead. I tried all the varying ways to start it, including Safe Boot and download mode. Nothing. I suspected that the battery must be empty, which seemed weird because I had about 75% charge before the ride (about 1 hour on standby).
So I decided to charge it as usual, and BAM, it started charging. I left it overnight and the next morning booted it up while it was still connected to the charger. Sure enough, it started like usual, and had 100% charge.
So I unplugged it to start my day and BAM, black screen and nothing. Reconnected to the charger, works like a charm.
I have completely reset the device to make sure there were no software issues, but the problem continues.
A broken battery?
I still have 4 months of warranty (only had the device for 2 months).
What to do?
Thanks,
Tim
