s6 edge people edge, contacts show up but no options such as call etc..

My s6 edge shows the contacts but if I click the icon it shows the name but no call or message option like it previously had. I think this happened after the 5.1.1 update but I cant be sure. All ive done so far to try fix this is wipe the cache partition and remove the contacts and readd them but neither has worked.
