S6 Edge stuck at the no battery icon

Left my phone pluged in for the night and at the morning i found out that its stuck on the "samsung galaxy s6 edge" screen. So i patiently waited for it to discharge. Now im stuck on the battery icon. I can enter the odin mode, and cannot enter the reboot recovery mode.

Welcome to Android Central! Let it charge up overnight without disturbing it. Then try powering on by pressing and holding Power for 15-20 seconds.

did that, nothing changed, tried to flash stock rom via odin, it got stuck on initialzation, dont know what to do

I wonder if the battery has failed and needs to be replaced.
