S6 - Touch screen issues only at Top -Left Area

Hello Team,
I have been experiencing this strange touch screen issues on Tmobile S6 for last 2-3weeks. Only happens on the Top Left area(where most google apps menu button located like Gmail, Keep, Etc). Few times, it works good, many times, it just doesn't work.

I m in the plan to contact the Samsung US service centre since the phone is still under warranty.

Before that, i wanted to get some expert advice from here. Attached the sample screenshots of the issue.

Please note, this issue occurs when i put a tempered glass screen protector or on the bare screen itself.

Chances are it's not your phone. If you have Facebook's Messenger installed, that's probably what's causing it (it's a known bug, unfixed apparently).

To check if that's, indeed, the issue, when the portion of the screen is blocked, try going into the Application Manager and Force Close Messenger. The area should work again.

I just hope you didn't mess up your screen protector thinking it was that hehe

I know a user who had this issue, tried removing the protector and, of course, could never put it back on perfectly again

Hmm, my mom's S6 had the same issue on the left lower corner and it miraculously fixed itself after a restart. Now I know why... FB messenger shut down. Thank you!

It probably just stopped the Messenger app at reboot and that's why it was 'fixed'. Again, it doesn't always do it. Sometimes the app can be running, and the corner will be responsive, and at other times, it won't. It seems to be related to Chat Heads, but it's still a 'mystery'.
