Re: Android 6 / Marshmelow?

If I'm not wrong this Marshmallow 6.0 upgrade has been out for six months. But Samsung and mobile carriers doesn't move fast with OTA. Before my Galaxy S6 I got a Google Nexus 5 and after the official release of the OTA by Google in about five to seven days I got the OTA. I knew that the upgrades use to be slow at others phones but this Samsung thing combined with AT&T it's slow, very, very slow.

I own an eu model (f) and today I updated to MM via flashing the xef firmware. Nice visual changes, some more free ram on average, and smoother performance.

Not to say Samsung couldn't do much better with updates, but Samsung's version of Android differs greatly from Google's version. All that takes time.

Now the point is that they released update in some countries for some phones and I'm not talking about carriers' slow downs

No sense looking at Verizon's website for any details. They keep people in the dark and won't roll out the update until well after the S7 is on the shelves.
