S7 Active pricing

I'm looking to upgrade my Father's old S5 Active to an S7 active and was wondering if anyone had any input on pricing trends? For example..does anyone recall how much the price dropped on the S6 Active when the S7 came out? I've been watching Best Buy and they are now selling the S7 active for about $18 a month on Next and wonder if this is a good time to go for it. Thanks.
