Does anyone know about this issue... My S7 was not on charge. My 2 year son was watching youtube when he handed me the phone which was hot. I heard a noise and the S7 was in flames.
First time I've heard of it, but that's a known possibility for ANY lithium ion battery depending on circumstances. This is not like the Note 7 where there were multiple documented cases right on release. But on a 2 year old phone with unknown amount of wear and tear, any lithium ion battery has a small chance of going up in flames.
