I am, and I'll just say it, nervous about call quality. This includes both ways and particularly on Verizon. Maybe it is just my horrendous luck with phones. If I hear good responses from people doing test calls it would make me feel a lot better about clicking the pre-order button.
My sob story, or just skip it... My first Galaxy S I don't think had any noise cancellation and seemed super sensitive, as it picked up everything around me and I got a lot of complaints on other end. I went to Moto X (2013), had it one night, returned next day because person on other end basically couldn't hear me unless I screamed (vzw customer service couldn't understand me on that phone). Traded it for an LG G2. I went through THREE of these. Other than one return due to burning a hole in my pocket, the other two had same problem of hearing screeching about every 3rd call I would make. I posted a lot of grief on AC about this back then. I gave up, waited a couple months, got the Moto X again, and decided to just deal with it - it was better than the first Moto X but I just don't sound very good on other end, and the bluetooth with my car is horrible. I made lots and lots of test calls in different vzw corp stores with their display phones and all the verizon ones sounded bad, but the AT&T sounded better. It makes me wonder if it has to do with the vocoder since that would be different.
