Uh... Although user error and a bad cable could've caused it, what I think happened (from a tech geek's perspective) is that the battery might have been degraded to the point where it became unstable and puffed up causing it to eventually blast into flames. I just don't know how usable it would've been (if at all) in such a state (a phone with a puffed and dying battery will probably not boot...). Another option is that some of the circuitry inside the phone failed, but again I highly doubt that. Yet another (very likely) cause is that something went wrong with that crappy charging station where everyone and their brother/sister/parents/etc... shoves whatever USB junk into that thing and wears it out...Ah well, __it happens.![]()
