s7 edge 5ghz wifi issue?

Why 5ghz dualband wifi not showing in our some devices like Galaxy S7 edge even these devices have 5ghz recieving capability in specs and am trying this using linksys wifi router ac dualband?

Does your 5 GHz SSID have a different name from the 2.4 GHz SSID? Make sure they're different.

Yes both have different names.

I had nothing but problems using WiFi calling and Video calling using the 5ghz Wifi. Went back to 2.4 everything works fine again.

Are you near the router? 5 GHz gives higher maximum throughput, but lower range compared with 2.4 GHz. If you're relatively far from the router, the signal might not be strong enough.

I means other samsung devices too but apple devices found 5ghz wifi.

Hmm, strange. I wonder if it's a firmware issue that's specific to Samsung. Have you already Safe Mode, or wiping the cache partition?

Are you using the low band for 5ghz chanels 36 to 48 set on router.
