How long does your estimated battery says it's going to last mine never goes above 10 hrs but goes past that note 7 said would last 17hrs but this won't go past 10hrs when it's fully charged

It really depends on individual usage patterns. If you've been using the phone frequently since unplugging it from the charger, it will assume you're going to use it like that for the duration of the charge, so that it will estimate a lower battery life than if you started off using it more intermittently.

Cheers for the reply just says 10hrs but it got 14hrs and 30 mins on battery and 5hrs sot but my note used to say 17hrs when I'd take it off charge

That also depends on your usage. If you're not using the phone much, System will be a higher percentage. If you're using the phone frequently, then those apps you use will increase their percentage use, and System will use a lower proportion. What may be more useful is to see how much total mAh it's used under "Computed power use" in the battery stats for Android System.

12hrs on battery 4 n half sot 4% bat left not as good as my note by quite a bit thought this s7 edge would be as good I'm in UK so 8890 model

195mAh is that good?

That's pretty good. My Nexus 6P running Nougat is currently showing Android System using 354 mAh over about an hour of CPU use (17 hours of the phone being on, a good amount of it in Airplane Mode), with battery down to 67%.

Thanks but even with that battery is draining really quick

I'm quite disappointed with the battery in my s7e compared to the n7. This s7e gets super hot while using the vr, and after about 40min of use, I'm down from 66% to 22%.

Granted, I didn't get to play with the n7 and vr too much before occlusion disabled it, but it seemed to have lasted longer than that, and didn't get anywhere near as warm. I would say the n7 got warm with the vr, but the s7e gets HOT, to the point that I get warnings after 20-30min of use that it needs to cool down to operate correctly... never saw that on the note...

To be honest, even though Note 7 had a smaller battery by 100 mah, it lasted longer for me than the S7 edge. I was getting around 5-6 hours SOT depending on my usage. On the S7 edge, I am not able to hit 5 hours SOT consistently. Always around 4 hours ish.

With the note 7 I was getting 17 hrs on battery with 6hr sot with s7 edge I'm getting 12hrs on battery with 5hrs sot God I miss my note

I miss my Note 7 too.

My S7e is a refurb and not brand new, so I do not think I can fairly compare this to my N7, but I can tell you that this battery charges slower and it drains twice as quickly. I do not hate this phone, but I do not love it either. It is real hard to fall for anything after having the amazing N7 taken away.

Go to settings, battery, and scroll to the bottom and look at what is using your battery. Do you see Google photos using quite a bit? It is the number one battery sap on my s7 edge. I'm fighting to disable it completely so it doesn't keep doing this

At this time I do not see that as an issue.
