Hi my s7 edge is lagging too much I've cleared the cache partion and have done factory resets in the past but still the same.

Are you restoring your device after each factory reset?
If so then your not really doing much. Restoring a back up will essentially put the same problem back onto your phone.
If you have an app not acting properly you need to wipe your device and install about 5 to 10 apps on it a day till you notice the lag, then hopefully one of the last 10 is whats causing it.
Could also be an issue with an SD card as well.

Yh I've had the same problem from my previous Samsung device

Mine seems to run well. I noticed lag a few weeks ago when google photos had an issue but its back to normal.

The only "lag" I have experienced on the S7 Edge occurred when there was a problem with a background service or application.

What are the circumstances, manifestations, and durations of the lag? People use the term to refer to all sorts of different things, ranging from normal animation transitions to genuine device stuttering. (Posting a brief video would be helpful.)

At what point in that process did the lag resume?

It's not the animation it's the device as I've changed the animation. The device started lagging yesterday and I did the reset last week

Ok but it would still help to know what lags, for how long, and under what circumstances.

What were the five apps you restored the day the lag resumed?

I was getting terrible lag. Did a little research and uninstalled the oculus app(s) cleared it right up without having to do a factory reset.
