S7 edge sensors dead after wather

[Android Central Question]

I dropped my S7 edge in wather with some soap. I pulled it after 7-8s out, i didnt rush it cause it is watherproof, or in this case it should have been. When i pulled it out it was perfect. Then the power and volume buttons stoped working, volume would turn up and down randomly. I turned my phone off and i didnt had rice so i left it overnight next to a stove. The next day about 12h later i turned it on and the buttons were working. When i looked the back side in the camera was some wather, also in the flashlight and in the sensor under the flash. But the sensor worked and all other sensors. The camera was working also. I let the phone again next to a stove and about 4h later i couldnt find any wather. Camera was working, all the buttons but now when i lock my phone and try to unlock it the screen turns on delayed about 5 or more seconds. Also all the sensors dont work, only the fingerprint sensor is working. Is there any fix so my sensors can work again, or at least a fix for the delayed screen turning on?

Your phone will die a slow but inexorable death. Back it up while you can.
Take it to a phone shop, they have the tools and expertise to pull it apart and dry it out.. Any damage to circuitry is permanent.
Moisture shorts out pins on circuit boards, it leaves a corrosive residue which will eventually cause the device to fail..

The thing is that it happened about 1 mont ago, i went to a phone shop and they said it will cost too much, and its better to buy a new one. I watched on YT that 99% alcohol can fix it. I dont see any other problems, preformance is good, fps good in games, no drops. I wouldnt care about the sensors, just the delayed screen is anoying me :/ Hope it doesnt die xD

Just why did the wather get in? How, S7 edge is wather proof? Thats what annoys me also. :/ I didnt know it would get damaged, next time i get a phone idk what they say that phone wont tuch any wather! xD

Ok this is funny but i just flashed the Oreo update and all the problems are now gone lol.. Sensors working, everything is fixed... Dunno how this happened but its fine by me
