S7 factory fit screen protector?

I've had my S7 for a year now and this week I bought another one for my wife. I also bought a screen protector but I was surprised to find one already fitted. I initially thought that it was a "transit" protection film like the one on the back of the phone but this has the cutouts for the home button and the speaker/camera at the top. The quality of the fit is exceptional.... much better than I managed when fitting a protector to my phone.

Are Samsung fitting screen protectors to the S7 these days? I worry that I've perhaps got a refurb. I purchased from a major retailer in the UK and the phone should have been new? Thanks.
