Whatta day! Only 55 minutes left till it's NOT today :p

As I was leaving for a Dr's appt an hour away, I put my phone on the hood of my car to pick something up that I'd dropped. Got 2 mile down the road and my car said "Phone disconnected" What??? It would have said that 300 yards past the house if my phone wasn't in the car with me, not TWO miles. Then it hit me...I left the phone on the hood of the car and it'S fallen off :( Freaked out! Hubby, the problem solver, said look on the Life 360 app and see where it is. I was way too upset to even think of using that or Lookout LOL Life 360 showed us where it was (about a 50 yd radius). Hubby said there's no way it's still on the road and started looking in the grassy ditches. I looked on the road. FOUND IT (on the road...right in the line of traffic). If I didn't run over it back tracking, surely someone did. We live in the country and it's a Farm to Market road but there was probably 7 or 8 cars on that road during the time it was laying there. NOT A SCRATCH ON IT!

The case backing is a little scuffed up. Couple of the corners but you have to feel it to know. InvisableShield screen protector has about 4 or 5 dots on it but it didn't break thru to the screen. No cracks on the screen. Both camera lenses are fine. It's as if I just carefully laid the phone on the road. THANK YOU SAMSUNG. THANK YOU SPIGEN and THANK YOU LIFE 360!

This is my 2nd Samsung Galaxy phone and 2nd Spigen Hybrid case combo. Looking forward to my 3rd Galaxy S-phone and Spigen case!!!

ETA...I should have also include a THANK YOU INVISABLE-SHIELD too. I'm sure it saved my screen from certain crack-age!

Wow, incredible story! You have got to be one lucky person. I have heard of people getting cracks in the glass just looking at it the wrong way. Well, maybe that is exaggerating just a little, but still.

That must be people that insist on a "nekkid" phone. I've had the S5 and S7 with InsiableShield and Spigen cases for 3 years. They've been hurled, catapulted and plain ol' dropped dozens and dozens of times. Both without a blemish on them. I had my doubts about the S7's glass construction but I think I'm pretty well over it (the doubts) ;)

That's awesome. I had my S7 three days before it slipped out of my bag exiting the car and fell face down onto pavement. Cracked in the upper corner :( I didn't have a case on it yet, but had a Zagg Screen Protector. It's all fixed now, but it was a huge pain dealing with fixing it. I was really paranoid for a while, but I have a thin case on the phone now and a tempered glass screen and haven't had any more issues with cracks. I really think sometimes it's just bad luck with these drops. I had never had a phone screen crack prior to this one.
