S7 tab split screen issue after A12 update

I can't split screen anymore after the recent update. Does anyone know a way to resolve ?

My 57+ is on Android 12 and split screen still works on mine. In fact, I switched to split screen after the first sentence just to ensure it doesn't work only with the 2 primary apps I use in split screen view.

I think that is the S-pen to text... they mentioned in another post that they use the pen when keyboard is not attached
