S7 vs S9+ Charging Speed?

I guess I've always been wrong because I thought the s8,s9 with usb type c was faster at charging than the s7. After experimenting with both at %47 the s7 would take 5min quicker to charge.
Both using original power cables and plugins.

So I come to here and ask am i doing something wrong? WHy if my s7 charging faster than my s9+???

Both use quick charge 2
